Quant Fusion Sponsors and Attends National Young Women's Leadership Symposium

Connecting with Future Women Leaders and Empowering Through Mentorship

Mar 27, 2023

Quant Fusion had the pleasure of sponsoring and attending the National Young Women's Leadership Symposium held in Tampa, Florida at the Epicurean Hotel located in historic Hyde Park. Ronda Clement, Quant Fusion Co-founder, is one of the original Co-founders of this important event and currently serves as its Co-chair.

This was an incredible opportunity to connect with other individuals and organizations dedicated to empowering and uplifting our future women leaders. The event was a huge success, with 60 high school women, attending both in person and virtual, from diverse backgrounds from around the country.

The symposium featured a variety of speakers and panelists who shared their insights on leadership, mentorship and empowerment. The keynote address was delivered by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor who shared words of inspiration and wisdom while emphasizing the importance of leadership and the need to support women in achieving their goals. Her speech set the tone for the rest of the symposium and left us feeling motivated and empowered.

Other speakers included: Dr. Luz Danela Randolph, Ed.D., Sr. Vice President and Executive Director, City Year Baton Rouge; Dr. Kris Bennett, Ed.D., Director of Education Support, Metropolitan Ministries; Shannon Hern, VP Chief Compliance Officer and Sr. Employment & Labor Counsel, The Mosaic Company; Ashaa Russell, Assistant Athletic Trainer, Monroe College.

Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to connect with other attendees and mentors to share our own experiences and perspectives. We were inspired by the diversity of backgrounds and experiences represented, and we left feeling grateful for the sense of connection and belonging that events like these can bring.

As a sponsor, we were proud to contribute to the success of the event and support the important work being done to empower our future women leaders. It was invirgorating to see so many individuals and organizations coming together to give back to the community and create a better future for all.

We can't wait for next year's symposium and look forward to continuing to support and empower women leaders in our community and beyond.
